The spectacular colors are warmer with gold than with silver, and they shimmer in the light! Each bead is hand-formed in a torch flame with great craftsmanship. They make great earrings, too! Cheery Cherries
Cheery Cherry Glass Lampwork Beads There are two tiny leaves at the top of the stems and a tiny little bud end on the bottom of each jucy cherry. These are amazing beads! We haven't seen anything like them. Made by hand on a metal rod (the mandrel), the glass only touches the mandrel at the stem tops and through the cherries. This is an unusual and complex process. How the two cherries stay round, we don't know. Beautiful workmanship! And the color is wonderful! They will make charming earrings and dangles for a necklace—or just strung together as you see in the picture. And as all our lampwork beads, they are hand-made, one by one, in a torch by a skilled craftsperson. About 16 x 14mm. They come to us from China. Rosalind Encased Petal Beads
